Privacy notice
We collect very little, and only to reply to you.
What we collect
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, any website you add and your message. The form also sets one short-lived session cookie, which exists only to stop forged submissions and is deleted when you close your browser. Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and the site loads no third-party scripts or fonts.
Why we use it
We use your details to read and answer your message and to check any correction you send. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the publication and responding to readers, and your consent when you tick the box on the form.
Who processes it
Messages are stored with our hosting and email provider, Hostinger. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for up to 24 months so we can follow up on corrections, then delete it. Server logs are kept by the host for its standard period.
Use of the site itself is covered by our terms of use.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it, by writing to hello@gamingdataatlas.online. If you are in the UK or the EU you can also complain to your data protection authority.
This notice should be reviewed by the site owner's legal adviser for the operating entity and its jurisdiction before launch.
