About GamingDataAtlas
An independent reference for people who need the official numbers behind regulated online gambling markets, and the context to read them correctly.
What we publish
GamingDataAtlas compiles figures that regulators, tax authorities and lottery corporations publish about online gambling: revenue, amounts wagered, tax rates, licence counts and, where they exist, estimates of how much play stays with licensed operators. We cover United States states, Canadian provinces, Great Britain and the regulated European markets. Each table states the period it covers, the definition the source uses and the date we last checked it.
The aim is simple. Analysts, journalists, compliance teams and operators often need one reliable number quickly, and the official release is usually a PDF on a regulator's site with its own terms. We put those numbers side by side, link to every release and explain where they cannot be compared.
What we do not do
We do not run gambling services, take bets, review casinos for players or publish bonus offers. We do not sell placements or sponsored data. We do not estimate market sizes ourselves or publish forecasts; when we quote an industry estimate, such as a figure from a trade body, we label it as such. We do not cover India or other markets where online gambling or its promotion is prohibited.
Legal status appears in our tables only as context. For whether a product may be offered or advertised in a given place, the regulator is the authority, and legal advice is the right next step.
Who runs it
GamingDataAtlas is edited by Himan Parker, who compiles and checks the datasets. Every figure is checked against its source before publication, and pages carry the date they were last checked so readers can see how current they are. How we do that is set out in our methodology, and our rules on independence, AI use and corrections are in our editorial standards.
